Lost and found

If you have forgotten an item of hand baggage or any other possession onboard an Air France aircraft, in a waiting room or at a check-in counter, then follow these steps to find out how to get them back.

Items lost onboard an Air France aircraft or at check in

If your object was lost onboard an Air France aircraft or at an Air France check-in counter in India

As soon as you arrive at your destination, go to an Air France counter or to one of our agents.
If you only notice your loss later, then contact the lost and found department in your country of residence.

In India, you can contact the department either on phone, between 10:00 - 17:00, Monday to Sunday or by e-mail, as follows;

Remember to:
1. Give your first and last name, permanent address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address
2. Give the date and place where you lost the object (flight number if appropriate)
3. Describe your lost property accurately.

If your item was lost in an airport located in India

In order to find an item lost in the public area of an airport situated in India, contact the lost property department of the airport in question:

Contact the lost property department of the airport in question.

Any objects unauthorized in the cabin will be removed by the police. Air France does not take any responsibility for these prohibited objects.
